Dorcas Clark

There doesn't seem to be any evidence about who her parents were. Some researchers claim Hanniel Bosworth and Abigail Bosworth (Scott) while other claim Joseph and Alice. We do know her maiden name was indeed Bosworth.

Our primary focus is one Dorcas Bosworth who married, in New England in 1648, Edward Clark. The name of their first born son was Hanniel. Dorcas was a sister of Hanniel-2 Bosworth who likewise named his first born son Hanniel who in turn named his first born son Hanniel. As such it is assumed that name of the father of Dorcas and Hanniel-2 Bosworth was likewise Hanniel. Dorcas and Hanniel-2 Bosworth had another sister named Susannah Bosworth.who married Theophilus Shatswell in 1650 and died in 1672 in Haverhill, Ma..
