About Doris Lillian Reimann

Ogden, Utah--Doris L. Hadley Reimann, 71, of Ogden, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away suddenly Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1992, in a Salt Lake City hospital of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at the Emmett, Idaho, LDS Stake Center, 980 W. Central Road. Burial will follow in the Emmett Cemetery. Arrangments are under the direction of Potter Funeral Chapel, Emmett.

Doris was born Nov. 15, 1920, at Rockland, Idaho, a daughter of John E. and Amy Alvord Hadley. She graduated from Rockland High School, and entered the military service in 1943 as a nurse in the WACS, a profession she followed for many years and dearly loved. She married Harold A. Reimann on April 14, 1946, at Emmett. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1968. She had resided in Emmett, Riverside, Calif., and Provo and Ogden, Utah.

She was a member of the LDS Church, serving in the Primary and Relief Society; and a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Doris enjoyed doing ceramics, driving her car to enjoy the beauties of the world, was an excellent cook, and a considerate and true friend to all she knew. Her special joy was her five grandchildren. She will be missed by all of her loved ones.

Survivors include a son, Robert John Reimann of Fort Lewis, Wash.; two daughters, Kristy (Mrs. Burke) Gibbs of Tremonton, Utah, and Cindy (Mrs. Danny) Matheny of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Cameron Montgomery, Erin Matheny, Quincy Gibbs, and John and Justin Reimann; three sisters, Elda (Mrs. Ramsey) Thomson of Payson, Ariz., Allene (Mrs. Robert) Davies of Ogden and Mrs. Florence Havlicak of American Falls; and two brothers, Alvin Hadley of Montour and Leroy Hadley of Boise. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Harold Hadley. Inscription: Married Apr. 14, 1946
