Maternal mtDNA Haplogroup L4b2b based on Jannetjie van Wyk, Jannetje van Wijk, Daughter of Claasje VAN ANGOLA, SM/PROG, 'Maaij' Claesje van Angola, seized from Portuguese slave ship by the 'Amersfoort' in the Gulf of Guinea, possibly Angola in 1658.

There is an unsolved query around the existence of "Teùre" (not Fure or Flure) ≈ 19, 10, 1692 but Delia Robertson claims that this baptism is that of the daughter (SAG v7 p41) Dorothea who married Cornelis Campher.
The reasons are outlined below:

In the baptism entry the child is not identified as a daughter - merely a child.

Note from Richard Ball - I have had a look at our copy of the original (handwriting is awful at this period) - the ure is pretty clear - letter before that seems most likely to be an e (though l is a possibility) and the initial letter seems to me very similar to the F starting Fijtie in the same entry - so my guess would be Feure but Mansell Upham's Teure is also a possibility.

There is a strong case for the baptism of Fleure/Teure on 19th Jan 1692 being that of Dorothea

In the light of this it would seem that there is no conclusive evidence that Feure/Teure and Dorothea are the same child; Feure/Teure is included in the GENi tree as b2 and Dorothea remains b3. This can be changed should further evidence come to light.
