Biography

Dorothy Ellis was born on 01 January 1691 in Rochester, Plymouth County, (then) Plymouth Colony, the daughter of Freeman and Mercy Ellis.[1]

She married Nathaniel Fish, the son of Nathaniel Fish, on 23 December 1713 in Sandwich, Barnstable County.[2] Dorothy died about 1720, probably soon after the birth of her fourth child.[3]

Children born Sandwich:

Sarah, b. 23 Jan 1714, d. bef. 1772, prob. no issue.
Nathaniel, b. 30 May 1715, d. 3 Sep 1789; m. Mary Tobey 1734.
Abigail, b. 05 Jan 1718, d. 07 Sep 1806; m. Justus Howland ca. 1736.
Jonathan, b. 08 May 1720, living in 1772.
