Dorothy Mae McLaughlin, 84 of Bemidji died Friday, February 3, 2012 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center in Bemidji.

Memorial Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the St. Philip's Catholic Church in Bemidji, MN with Fr. Don Braukmann officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Bemidji under the direction of Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

She was born March 9, 1927 in Thief River Falls, MN the daughter of Charles and Alice (Hruby) Habedank. She attended Country School in the Thief River Falls area and graduated from Goodridge High School in 1943. She married Arthur Augustus McLaughlin August 31, 1947 in Thief River Falls, MN. She worked for Northwest Technical College for 8 ½ years. She was a member and volunteered the hot lunch program at St. Philip's Catholic Church and also volunteered for the Crippled Children's Clinic in Bemidji.

She is survived by her husband: Arthur A. McLaughlin of Bemidji, MN Daughters: Dianne Laughter of Tenino, WA Nancy (Don) Cardwell of Chanhassen, MN Sons: Arthur (Linda) C. McLaughlin of Yuma, AZ Les (Theresa) McLaughlin of Myakka City, FL 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and her sister.

Honorary Urnbearers will be Michael and Jeremy McLaughlin, Marshall McLaughlin, Melissa and Matt Blokzyl and Anne Jones.
