About Dr. Belcher Noyes, Esq.

A.B. of Harvard 1727; A.M. Harvard, 1785. He was a physician in Boston for many years, and accumulated a large estate; among other items on the inventory of his estate was "one-half of Roanoke Island, N.C." He was chosen proprietor's clerk of Topsham, Me., in 1757.
