Dr. JOHN CLARKE, a celebrated physician of Boston, came from Newbury, Mass., about 1638. He married Martha Saltonstall, sister of Sir Richard Saltonstall (SIC: disproven?) who died Sept. 19, 1680. He died Nov. 1664, ae. 66, leaving two children, John, whose family is given below, and Jemima, who married Robert Drew, of Boston.
