Jonathan was a Friend (Quaker)
Jonathan Mosher was born probably at Dartmouth, Massachusetts in Apr 1748. He was the son of William Mosher and Margaret Wood. Jonathan married Patience Hoag, daughter of Moses and Patience Hoag, about 1770. Patience was born 30 Oct 1757. She died after 1830 when she was in Queensbury, Warren Co., New York. Jonathan died at Saratoga, New York 8 Oct 1812, age 64.

Patience and Jonathan had nine children between 1772 and 1794. They moved in 1773 from Dutchess Co., New York to Saratoga, where they were members of the Easton Meeting of Friends.[1]
