I haven't seen evidence of his death at Terezin, or anywhere else in October, 1941.
A Richard Hartmann, listed as a "physician," appears at Yad Vashem, with a birthdate of January 1, 1891. This Richard Hartmann is on a list of "Jewish Physicians of Bohemia and Moravia."
Richard Hartmann was a lawyer (father of my mother-in-law's first husband, Walter). Richard was taken to the Fortress (Prison) at Terezin, from where he was allowed to correspond with his family. Their final postcards to him were returned as he had "died". We have those cards. I will check my files and add dates asap. (Rob Pearman)
