"Max Hermann Maier was born in Frankfurt in 1891. He was a lawyer and lawyer, son of Hermann Heinrich Maier and Cäcilie Minna Scheyer. During World War I, he was recruited to serve as lieutenant in the German Army. His brother, Hans Maier (1889-1937), was also a lawyer and a prominent figure in social reform and well-being in Weimar Germany.
