A clutch of documents in Arolsen Archives show that Fritz THOMAN survived the Holocaust and was living for a while in Salzburg after the war, he registers as a DP - Displaced Person. He is described as a "Rechtsanwalt" and it is said that he intends to fly to the USA/Canada in 1952 ...

One particularly detailed document notes that he had first fled to Zagreb, then was in the Ferremonte concentration camp in Italy, and after being liberated he worked as an interpreter./ supervisor in Bari. In 1948 he moved back to Austria and has been staying in Salzburg.
