Daughter of James Hodnett and Mary Allen, his wife. Granddaughter of John Hodnett and Elizabeth Tignor, his wife; Josiah Allen and Sarah Atkinson, his wife. Gr.-granddaughter of Philip Tignor and Nancy Forbish, his wife; Clement Allen and Nancy McKissick, his wife; Jeremiah Atkinson and Mary Thompson, his wife. Gr.-gr.-granddaughter of Drewey Allen and Elizabeth Yarbrough, his wife. Drewey Allen, (1749-1826), served as a soldier in the North Carolina line. He was born in Orange Co., N. C.; died in Pike Co., Ga. Also No. 23717.

Descendant of Drewry Allen. Daughter of Daniel G. S. Ballard and Cornelia Allen, his wife. Granddaughter of John Cunningham Allen and Mary Jackson, his wife. Gr-granddaughter of Clement Allen and Nancy McKissick, his wife. Gr-gr-granddaughter of Drewry Allen and Elizabeth Yarbrough, his wife. Drewry Allen (1749-1826) served as a soldier in the North Carolina line. He was born in Orange Co., N. C.; died in Pike Co., Ga. Also Nos. 23717, 36133, 42810, 43475.
His grave is marked with DAR plaque His headstone has him as Rev. War soldier
His grave is in the Allen family cemetery that is now surrounded by Pine Bluff Golf course. It is near 4th hole so if visiting go the Country Club office first.
