Obit: Earl LeRoy Fuller, Sr., 78, of Washta, Iowa, died early Sunday morning, July 21, 1963, in Cherokee. Born near Marshalltown, Iowa, March 26, 1885, he was married to Emma Baker near Washta February 19, 1908. He was a member of the Meadow Star church. He had lived and farmed on the same farm in the Washta vicinity for 55 years. Survivors include his wife, Emma; two daughters, Miss Oma Fuller of Chicago and Mrs. V.C. (Verna) Merlik of Berwyn, Illinois; three sons, Earl Fuller, Jr. of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, Marlin of Washta and Beryl of Pierson; three grandchildren; and one brother, Rev. Charles Fuller of Story City, Iowa. Funeral services were held July 24 from the Meadow Star Church with Rev. Myron W. Brockmeyer of the Kingsley Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Grand Meadow Cemetery under direction of Dickison-Michaelson Funeral home of Kingsley.
