my Grandpa talk of his uncle Earl before, I think he mentioned that he had only one arm and farmed land north of old mill dam next to george's plot. My Granpa recalls that he was quite a character. He loved to "wittle" wood and tell jokes. He was quite a lady's man, even later in life. He lived with my gg Charles when he was about 80. GG Charles kicked him out of house b/c of his "encounters" at the local house of ill repute resulted in an embarrassing "illness."

William Peen Masonic Lodge 727 and Scottish rite, valley of Terre haute. he was a retired employee of Terre Haute malleable. surviving are the widow, Glenna; a son Jack, Luke air force base, Phoenix, Ariz.; a step-son Leland Corne, Seymour, Ind.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Doris Johnson, Terre haute; Mrs. Frances Hancher, Prescott Ariz; ad Mrs. Virginia west, Bicknell Ind. A brother Frank Terre haute, as sister Mrs. Susie Rayfield, Terre haute; four stepbrothers, James and Paul both of Terre haute; Don Rogers, Fort Myers, Fla.; and William Purcell, Wyoming, Mich; a stepsister, Mrs. .Louise Emery,Switz Cit, Ind.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at cross funeral home the rev Edward n. Schachterle will officiate Burial will be in Roselawn memorial Park. friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday.
