About Ebenezer Buck
Per Samuel Buck Mary Andrews and Jonathan Buck were second cousins. They had 6 children: Ebenezer, Ruth, Lydia, Sarah, Jonathan Jr., and Moses. Torrey indicated they lived in Wethersfield, CT and New Medford (probably an error for New Milford). Barbour VR on microfilm indicates Jonathan m. Mary Andrus, Mar 4, 1700/1 by John Haines, J.P., Wethersfield VR, v.1, p.55.
Jonathan, along with his son Ebenezer, was one of the "North Purchase" proprietors, a tract of land added in 1722 to the New Milford grant, Connecticut, making it the largest township in Connecticut.
