Eduard 'Edi' Neumeister (1953 - 2020)

Brief overview:

Edi (67), originally from Austria, and the owner of Bratwurst Sausage Restaurant and B&B farmhouse restaurant, in Lidgetton, in the Midlands, was hacked to death with a panga (bush/cane knife) by a male perpetrator, at 08h30 on 6th June 2020. The attacker entered the property and demanded cash from Edi, who was then taken into the house and murdered. His fiance, Margit (62) (Maggie), managed to escape and ran to the main gate of Michealhouse School where she relayed what happened to Ballid security guards who called the ambulance and police.

Midlands Emergency Medical Services Spokesperson Mark Winterboer said that the scene that greeted the response team was gruesome, and by the time they arrived at the farm Edi was already dead.

Police spokesman Warrant Officer Joshua Maistry said a case of murder was registered at the Nottingham Road police station.
