He immigrated before 1 Jun 1880 to USA since he appears in the state of Illinois in the 1880 Federal Census. Edmond English and his wife, Mary English, and their children, John, Michael, Edward Michael, Alice and Timothy Anthony, appeared on the census of 1 Jun 1880 at Elm St., Village of Tallula, Menard County, IL.
