Edward Ball was born in 1701 in Middlesex County, Virginia.[1] He died in 1742 in Prince William County, Virginia.[2]. Son of Edward Ball and Keziah (Osborne)

Edward married Sarah Owen in 1725 in Christ Church Parish, Middlesex County, Virginia.[3] Sarah Owen (Ball) was born on about 1704 in Middlesex, VA.

Edward was a Planter in Middlesex County, Virginia.[4]

Edward purchased 50 acres of land in Middlesex County on 3 and 4 September 1733 from Hezekiah Rhodes. He and Sarah sold this land to Henry Armistead four years later on 5 and 6 December 1737.[5]

Edward moved to Stafford County, Virginia, about the year 1738 after selling his land in Middlesex County. About the year 1740 he moved to Prince William County, Virginia.

Edward and Sarah had children:

  1. Clemence Ball was born on 15 Jan 1726, Christ Church, VA and died on Jul 1806, in Fauquier Co., VA. Clemence married William Dulin (Abt 1747, in Prince William, VA Note: Clemence was baptized, 1726, Christ Church Parish, VA.
  2. John Ball was born on 1729, Christ Church, Middlesex, VA and died in 1764 in Fauquier, VA. He married: Frances (Ball) Note: John baptized, 1729, Christ Church Parish, VA.
  3. Edward Ball was born on 1732 and died in 1788. He married: Elizabeth. Note: Edward baptized, 1732, Christ Church Parish, VA;
  4. Benjamin Ball; named Edward Ball his father, deceased, in a court case 27 May 1745
