Biography ==When Edward Lay was born on January 26, 1668, in Lyme, Connecticut, his father, John Lay, was 35 and his mother, Sarah Andrews, was 26. He married Marah De Wolfe in 1688 in Connecticut. He died on March 1, 1758, in his hometown at the impressive age of 90, and was buried in Old Lyme, Connecticut.
