Edward Mendenhall

This Edward Mendenhall was the son who co-authored his father's book, the first published record of the family trees of the Mildenhall/Mendenhall families from England and then America plus S. Africa.

Edward taught school at Forescot, England before coming to America about 1850. He settled near Richmond, IN and taught school. He then moved toCincinnati, OH where he entered the book and map publishing business. He co-authored and published the book, "History, Correspondence and Pedigreesof the Mendenhalls of England, the United States and Africa." His father did much of the research for the book but died before it was published.

Edward's all son line apparently still is alive in St. Louis, Missouri, USA and named Edward: the recent Edward:
