About Edward John Peake
From The Peake Family in South Australia by Andrew Guy Peake 1972.
Edward John was the youngest child of Edward and Christina Peake and was born on the 11th November 1890. He also entered the State Public Service. When he retired he was the Assistant Superintendent of Railways in the South-East of South Australia. While he was superintendent in the South-East the broad guage railway was introduced to replace the old narrow guage railway line. He married Alison Vera Shannon and had three children.
