Marriage settlement 1 June 1563 to Eleanor, daughter of Walter, Lord Hungerford, of Heytesbury, widow of William Masters.

Eleanor's very detailed will lists many members of her family. Surprisingly, she describe's her sister as "Mary Baker" as she should be Mary "Shaa" by this date.

In the name of God Amen, the 25th Daie of March...1591, I Elianor Hungerford, widow, .... countie of Oxon, late the wife of Sir John Hungerford, knight, deceased, ...to be buried in the church at Black Bourton... I bequeath to my brother Sir Walter Hungerford for a token of remembrance my best gelding. I give and bequeath to my brother Edward Hungerford my gelding next the best. I give and bequeath to my nephew John St John my third gelding. I give and bequeath to my sister Mary Baker my wedding ring of playne gold which to war as a token of rememberance.
