Notes for ELEAZER COTTRELL: New Jersey Archives Vol. 23 First Series Page 12 Will of Eleazer Cottrell. Eleazer was of Middleton, County of Monmouth and eastern division of the Province of New Jersey. His will was dated Mar.18,1726/27 and an inventory was done on Apr. 15,1727- he died sometime between those dates.

New Jersey Archives First Series VXX page 144 Jan 20, 1687-8 Notice to the governor and Council of New Jersey that John Smith of Middleton has sold to Eleazer Cottrell of the same place 100 acres received from proprietors.
