Biography

Eleazer Crocker, son of Eleazer Crocker and Ruth (Chipman) Crocker,

was bon in Barnstable, Massachusetts on August 3, 1693.[1]

Eleazer married Judith Sanders in Haverhill, Massachusetts on February 7, 1720.[2]

Sometime before 1724, Eleazer and Judith moved to Windham, Connecticut.[3]

Eleazer and Judith had the following children (and perhaps others):

Ebenezer, b. January 2, 1724 in Windham, Connecticut[4]

John, b. August 23, 1727 in Windham, Connecticut[5]

Hannah, b. June 27, 1729 in Windham, Connecticut

Ruth, b. December 7, 1732 in Windham, Connecticut,ref name="RuthBirth"/

d. September 8, 1737[6]

Sarah, b. August 9, 1739 in WIndham, Connecticut[7]

Sometime after August 1739 but before September 1759,

Eleazer and Judith moved about 30 miles northwest to Willington, Connecticut.[8]

Eleazer's date and place of death are unknown.

Some family trees have mistakenly stated that he died on November 19, 1724.

This is probably due to his entry in Mayflower Births and Deaths,

which says that Eleazer died sometime AFTER November 19, 1724.[9]

The same notation is given for his sister Ruth.[9] It is likely that

that is just the date of some documents related to the administration

of their father's estate which mention them as living people.[

9] Eleazer lived until at least September 19, 1759, as a record

shows Eleazer and his wife Judith being admitted

to the church in Willington, Connecticut on that date.[10]
