Eleazer Dunham was born about 1659 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Dunham (1907) gives the year of his birth as 1658.1,2 He was the son of Joseph Dunham and Mercy Morton.1,2 About 1682 Eleazer, married Bathsheba Whiston, daughter of John Whiston and Susanna Hanford, in Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1,2 He enlisted for three years under Capt. James Warren.1 On 24 September 1713, he was licensed to sell liquor.2
