Eliakim Howe, (1723-1805), signed the Association test of New Hampshire 1776 and was a member of the alarm list of Henniker. He was born in Marlboro, Mass.; removed to Henniker, N. H. 1763 and died in Maine.

Moved to Brownfield, Maine with his son Rev. Tillius Howe.



Eliakim Howe was the ancestor who assisted in establishing American Independence, while acting in the capacity of member of the Committee of the New Hampshire Militia, as "Patriot"
