A Patriot of the American Revolution for RHODE ISLAND. DAR Ancestor #: A114033
Elias was a Colonel in Westerly Militia, left a will dated 4-30-1778 and proved 4-9-1781 all children born in Westerly, RI baptized 4-8-1709 He was a wealthy man and his home was located near Brand's mill on the Pawtucket River, he owned all the land on Thompson's cove, owned slaves. Held meetings for the Am Rev in his home.
