2126. E Alonzo "Al" DECKARD was born on 28 Oct 1930 in Linton, Greene County, Indiana. He died on 10 May 1992 in Plainfield, Hendricks County, Indiana.

Obituary: Born Oct. 28, 1930 at Linton, he was the son of Geroge and Mary Alice Musser Deckard. He died Sunday May 10, at his home. Mr. Deckard, an army veteran of the Korean Conflict, was a longtime Hendricks County attorney. He retired as an attorney and partner in the Deckard O'Brien Black Steuerwald & Zielinski law firm, Danville, in 1988. Previously he was a tax accountant for Public Service Indiana several years. Mr. Deckard was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Plainfield Elks Lodge and was a past national president of the County Atorneys Association and a former precinct committeeman in Hendricks County. He was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church, Plainfield Masonic Lodge; Indiana and Hendricks County Bar Association; Theta Chi fraternity and was listd in " Who's Who. He was married in 1959 to Lynete Blake. Surviving are wife, Lynette Blake Deckard; son, Blake Deckard, Indianapolis; daughter, Abby Reuter, Plainfield; Brothers; James and Willis Deckard and Ben Kennedy; sisters; Jane Hobbs, Lodema Anderson and Belvia Scroggins; two grandchildren. He was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield, Hendricks County, Indiana.

He was married to Lynette BLAKE in 1959. E Alonzo "Al" DECKARD and Lynette BLAKE had the following children:
