Eliza Caroline Horne

Eliza Caroline Lee, daughter of James Henry and Mason Lee, was born 26 Apr 1850 in Davidson County, NC. She married Lewis Skidmore Horne (b. 28 Sep 1828, d. Aug 1915) on 22 Nov 1874 in Jewell County, KS., and had 2 children: Grace Caroline Horne (b. 16 Mar 1876, d. 8 Apr 1876) and Clarence Q. Horne (b. Mar 1879, d. 21 Jul 1879). Lewis, Eliza Caroline and the children are all buried here.

Prior to his marriage to Eliza Caroline Lee, Lewis Skidmore Horne was married to Ruth Barrett, with whom he had 6 children; Martha, Mary Rosetta who married Samuel G. McLane, Charles F., Flora Isabella who married John A. Armstrong, Albert Grant, and Ida. Ruth died 10 apr 1872 in Atchison County, Missouri and is buried in Bush Cemetery.
