Eliza Ellenberger Light

3 May 1916: Mrs. Eliza Mark Light, widow of John L. Light, died on Tuesday afternoon about 3 o'clock, at her home at 528 North Tenth Street. She was in ill health for several years, but was regarded as critically ill only during the past week, during which time she was confined to her rocking chair in which she died, having been afflicted with chronic Bright's disease. Mrs. Light was born and raised in Lebanon County, being the daughter of the late John Mark, and old time resident. Of a large family there is now but one member left, Mrs. Light's sister, Mrs. Sarah Herr, who has arrived at an advanced age. Mrs. Light made her home for many years at the place where she died and was widely known. She was a member of St. Paul's United Evangelical Church and before her health declined, took an active part in the work of that organization. She leaves five children: Ira J. and Grant, the Lebanon liveryman; Albert G., salesman for the Miller music store; Harvey, at home, and Mattie, wife of Fred. H. D. Heilman, employed at the Lebanon post office. [Lebanon Daily News]

4 May 1916: LIGHT - In Lebanon, on the 2nd inst., Mrs. Eliza, widow of John Light, aged 75 years, 7 months and 23 days. Funeral on Friday afternoon, at 2:00 o'clock, from her late residence, No. 523 North Tenth Street. Services at St. Paul's U. E. church at 2:30. Interment at Mt. Lebanon cemetery.
