Elizabeth is mentioned in Gustavus A. Hinckley's transcription of Barnstable Town Records.[1][2] "Thomas, the other son of Rev. Mr. Walley was a merchant in Barnstable and prominent citizen. He married Hannah Bacon of Nath(1) Bacon Esq and had Thomas who died without issue; Hannah, who married first William Stone 1868 and second James Leonard; and Elizabeth who married Edward Adams 1692."
The date and place of her marriage is given as 19 May 1692 at Bristol, Rhode Island[3] as documented by William Montgomery Clemens in American Marriage Records Before 1699.[4][5]
Is it possible that she was born in England. FS records lead us to that conclusion. Example - "England, Cheshire Bishop's Transcripts, 1598-1900," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NHDN-59K : 10 December 2017), ... Walley, 1663, Christening; citing item 2, Bunbury, Cheshire, England, Record Office, Chester; FHL microfilm 1,655,425.
