Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Andel, 83, of Breckenridge will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Breckenridge Lutheran Church with Rev. Eugene Floistad officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Breckenridge.

Mrs. Andel died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital.

will be Monday afternoon and evening at Joseph Vertin & sons Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.  There will also be visitation one hour prior to services at the church.

Casket bearers will be Clarence and Jerry Andel, Gilbert Andel Jr., Darwin Lindberg, Leroy Reynolds, and Curtis Swenson.

Elizabeth Schultz was born July 15, 1891 in Germany to David and Elizabeth Schultz. She came to the United States with her family in 1905. They settled in Chicago.

She married Andrew Andel July 26, 1908 in Chicago. The couple came to this area where they farmed for several years. He preceded her in death in 1950. She has been a resident of St. Francis Home in Breckenridge the past 16 years.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Emil (Katherine) Beglau of Lodi, Calif., Mrs. Ray (Wilma) Lindberg and Mrs. LaVern (Mabel) rinnels of Breckenridge, Mrs. Morris (Florence) Swenson of Wolverton, Mrs. Allen (Nellie) Meyer of Wahpeton, and Mrs. Robert (Josie) Miller of Kent; five sons, Frank and Walter of Breckenridge, Carl of Fargo, Earl of Wahpeton, and Clarence of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; 65 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, a daughter, and two sisters.
