13. Thomas ARNOLD was born on 4 March 1675.17,49 He died on 3 February 1726/7 at the age of 51.
"Arnold, Thomas, of Providence, son of Richard and Elizabeth Burlingame, of Roger (Date given in old method) 5d 10m 1706 March was 1st month of the year until 1752.
Thomas wrote his will 29 Jan 1726/7, naming his wife and six children. The will was proved on 6 March. He left Elizabeth half the homestead for life providing she take care of the children. Job, the eldest received the other and was to receive his mother's half upon her death.
29 Dec 1729, five surviving children, Job, Jonathan, Thomas, Mary & Sarah, all of Providence, sold land on the east side of the Seven Mile Line that was laid out to their father on 29 Nov 1723.
Thomas ARNOLD and Elizabeth BURLINGAME were married on 5 December 1706 in Rhode Island.58 Elizabeth BURLINGAME59, daughter of Roger BURLINGAME, was born on 9 January 1683/4.49,60 She died on 6 May 1752 at the age of 68 in Smithfield, Providence County, Rhode Island.
After the death of Thomas Arnold, Elizabeth married William Spencer at the Smithfield Society of Friends, 11 Apr 1734. He died in 1748.
Elizabeth Spencer of Smithfield, widow, "an ancient person" wrote her will 22 Nov 1749; it was proved 22 May 1752. She named her sons Job, Jonathan & Thomas Arnold, her daughters Mary Newell and Sarah Turpin; son Job's daughters Lydia, Sarah, & Kezia; son Jonathan's daughters Mercy & Elizabeth; deceased son Thomas's daughters, Amy, Huldah, Phebe & Alice; daughter Mary Newell's daughters Sibel & Elizabeth; and granddaughter Elizabeth Turpin, under age 18. She left a great Bible to son Job.

- ii. Jonathan ARNOLD was born on 18 November 1709 in Rhode Island.17,49,60 He died on 29 December 1796 at the age of 87.17 Quaker records give birth as 18th day 9th month 1708 or 18 Nov 1708. Jonathan's will was dated 13 Oct 1786, proved 7 Feb 1797. Wife Abigail received 1/3 of his movable estate and half the profits of his real estate. He named seven children: Welcome, Jonathan, Aza, Thomas, Marcy Dexter, a widow, Elizabeth the wife of Samuel Arnold, and Abigail. 60
