"Elizabeth, last name at birth unknown, married John Baisey/Baysey, son of John. She was born about 1620, no location designated. Elizabeth (Unknown) Baisey died at Hartford before 3 Dec 1673 (date of inventory). Her will was recorded 15 Dec 1673. She mentions their three daughters, Mary Burr, Lydia Baker, and Elizabeth Peck, by their married names in her will, indicating they all were married prior to her death. She was made executrix of her husband's estate - he died in August of 1671."

Elizabeth was probably born about 1617 in Wethersfield, Essex, England. She married John Baysey, who was also probably born in Wethersfield, about 1639. They were probably married in Wethersfield, and left soon after for New England. her maiden name may have been Freeman.

From Early Connecticut Probate Records: Elizabeth's will is undated. It was proved on December 15, 1673. In her will she left her daughter, Elizabeth Peck, two coats, one that was her husband's cloak, and her cow, for her care for her in her sickness; the remainder she gave her three daughters, Mary Burr, Lydia Baker and Elizabeth Peck. The inventory was dated Dec. 13, 1673.

I Elizabeth Bayse, being by the Providence of god very wecke but of sound understanding, do make this my last will & testament: I do give to my daughter Elizabeth Peck my 2 Cushions that was my husband's, in Consideration of her Care & Trouble of me in my sickness. The rest of my Estate I give to my three daughters, Mary Burr, Lydia Baker and Elizabeth Peck, equally to be divided amongst them.
