  1. on 1635 in Massachusetts to Giles Badger (1610-1648). [4,5]  He was the son of John Badger Jr. and Anne Greenway. 
  2. on 16 Feb 1648 in Newbury, Massachusetts to Richard Browne (1607-1661) as his second wife; he was married to Edith unknown first.

Notes from Cummins:

  1. "baptismal date, according to the custom of the time, would likely be about eight days after her birth."
  2. Elizabeth named in his will as "his daughter Browne, widow."
  3.  The Giles Badger book calls her Sarah Dole.
  4. Came to Massachusetts from England in 1634 with Captain Edmund Greenleaf's family aboard the "Mary and John.". Most likely Giles Badger was on the same ship along with his brothers.
  5. One son listed (unnamed) in will of Giles Badger dated 29 June 1647. The History of Coventry, CT lists two, pg 85.
