Beth Wilson Dalton, age 84, of Marion, N.C. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at The McDowell Hospital.

A native of Rutherford County, she was born on October 4, 1923 to the late Haye T. Wilson and Kathleen Flynn Wilson.

Beth was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was retired from American Thread following over 26 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, camping and spending time with her family and friends.

Her husband, Alvin Dalton, two infant daughters, Patricia and Luanne Dalton, two sons, Steve Dalton and Terry Dalton, and two brothers, Paige Wilson and Thurman Wilson preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Junior Dalton and his wife Sharon and Jerry Dalton and his wife Glenda, both of Marion; a daughter-in-law, Judi Dalton of Marion; three brothers, Roland Wilson, Tommy Wilson and Ronnie Wilson, all of Marion; two sisters, Aileen Brown of Spartanburg, SC and Lucy Lester of Bosier City, LA; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Burial will be in Bills Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at Lake Lure, NC.
