Comments

RDS: Spink and Shercliff families is Donnelly's treatment of them in her "Colonial Settlers of St. Clement's Bay." Linda must have done work on these families because she gives different info than Donnelly.

Donnelly has 2 Thomas Spinks, one who was the brother of Henry Spink and who m. a woman named Margaret; the other Thomas Spink is shown as the son of Francis and Mary Spink but Donnelly gives no spouse for that Thomas.

Donnelly shows Elizabeth Shircliffe, the dau. of William Shircliffe and Mildred Thompson, m. Joseph Miles, that is, not to a Thomas Spink or William Bradburn. Linda has mentioned to me before that Donnelly is often wrong.
