In 1453, Thomas Grenville and Elizabeth his wife, grant to John Rede, all that his land in Bideford, which John Bishop and others held, by grant of William Hankford, knight, John Hankeford, Richard Geynvyle, William Freye, and Richard Conyan, parson of the church of Lytheham. Dated at Bydeford, Sunday before the Conversion of St Paul, 31 Hen. VI [21 January 1453].

Elizabeth married Sir Thomas GRENVILE, Lord of Bideford, son of William GRENVILLE, Lord of Kilkhampton, and Philippa BONVILLE, by 21 Jan 1452/3. (Thomas GRENVILE was born in Jacobstow, Cornwall and died in 1483.)
