Bio: Nancy Crooks Runta

Daughter of Jacob Bass and Ann Cook. Married Jacob Gupton in 1805 in Franklin County, North Carolina. They moved to Wabash County about 1830. They were the parents of Nancy Ann Gupton Morgan, Ann Gupton, Malinda Gupton Rodgers, Rose Ann Gupton James, Elizabeth Gupton, Sarah Gupton McManaman, Mary Ann Gupton McKinney, Matilda Gupton, Jacob Gupton and Rina Gupton Armstrong. Sister of Nancy Bass Andrews, Sarah "Sally" Bass Cook, Jacob Bass, Guilford Bass, Boykin Bass, Wyatt Bass, and Cynthia Bass.
