They were married on August 2, 1767 in Gouchland, Virginia. They moved to South Carolina and then settled 8 miles from Greensboro, Georgia on a plantation on Town Creek, where their graves are well marked.

Buried next to husband-Thomas Heard in the family cemetery in Greene County, between Greensbora and Walker Springs. FHL Bk. 975.8612 V3a. pg. 206. Birth-Goochland according to Corres. Barbara Shore.
