• KIT 19381: Sion HILL b/1773 married Orpha Starage LEE in 1800 in Johnston Co NC. Sion and Starage left Wake Co. NC about 1820 or so and moved to Davidson Co NC. They lived next to son Doctor Washington Hill, b. 1818 in Wake Co. Their son, my Riley Hill b. 1810 Wake Co. mar. Apsylla Nance. Sion and Starage and the mother of Apsylla were members of Tom's Creek Primitive Baptist Church that is still active. There is a Sion Hill buried in the cemetery there d. 1914 but I believe he is the s/o Doctor Washington Hill. My Riley Hill is buried at Mt. Shepherd Primitive Baptist Church. He had 4 sons in TWBS at one time. The 19 year old was captured and died in a northern prison.
