He married (1) Elizabeth Marriott about 1707, daughter of Alcie and Marthias Marriott. She was born about 1687 in Surry County, Virginia, and died 1710 in Virginia. He married (2) Hannah Greene after 1710. She was born about 1685.

Sion Hill [1802] was born 1682 in Surry County, Virginia or Halifax County, North Carolina, and died after 1762 in Edgecomb County, North Carolina.
