Elizabeth _______(c1698-after 1782) was a patriot during the American Revolution, providing corn and beef.[1] Her husband was Arthur Hopkins. Their daughter Amelia married Baxter Davis.[2]

She has various birth dates, ranging from circa 1698 to 1700 to 1702 to circa 1710.

Most histories indicate Arthur Hopkins attended medical school in London, England. (Source: Decendants of Arthur Hopkins, M.D. of Virginia compiled by Carol Shabowski Sheedy); however, he may have attended medical school in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Marriage: He married Elizabeth (Pettus) [sic: disputed] Hopkins around 1723 probably in Williamsburg. (Find a Grave gives a date of 26 January 1723 but gives no sources). [1]

Thomas Pettus Jr. did have a daughter Elizabeth, but she died May 2, 1700.
