Elizabeth Betsey Rollins

There were competing sets of parents for Elizabeth Johnson. Sources on the Internet differ. One set of parents are Obadiah Johnson and Content Rogers. The other set was Simeon Johnson and Elizabeth Gardner.

Johnson Family sources (descendants of Capt. John Johnson) prefer the latter set of parents. I have chosen those parents because:

• Elizabeth may well have been named for her mother, Elizabeth Gardner Johnson, wife of Simeon Johnson
• Elizabeth Johnson Rollins named her first son Simeon, like Simeon Johnson

Elizabeth, born 7 Apr 1760 Holliston. She was the daughter of Simeon Johnson and his first wife, Elizabeth Gardner. She married John Rollins on 16 Oct 1787 in Dublin, New Hampshire. Elizabeth and John moved to Chittenden, Vermont.
