Elizabeth Kent (September 22, 1868 – August 14, 1952) was an environmentalist and women's rights activist. Together with her husband, U.S. Congressman William Kent, she helped create the Muir Woods National Monument by donating land to the government. She was the president of her local chapter of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.

The great-granddaughter of American founding father Roger Sherman of Connecticut, and the daughter of Yale University Professor Thomas Anthony and Elizabeth Baldwin (Sherman) Thacher. In 1890, she married William Kent and they moved to Marin County, California. They had seven children. Both William and Elizabeth were active in local politics. When the coastal redwood forest in Marin was to be cut down, the couple purchased 611 acres and donated 295 acres to the federal government. These woods became the Muir Wood National Monument. She had corresponded to John Muir about nature and conservation.

After her husband was elected to Congress, in 1911, the Kent family moved to Washington D.C.. Elizabeth was active in women's rights and worked for getting women suffrage. She was a featured speaker at the 1913 and 1914 the National American Women's Suffrage Association (NAWSA) conventions. She became a member of their Congressional Committee. She helped form the Congressional Union (later renamed the Women's Party). She was involved in picketing the White House in support of suffrage.

After the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment, she became involved with the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. In 1937, she became president of the Marin County chapter. In 1945, she participated in the meeting of the United Nations in San Francisco.
