Elizabeth ? (aka Betty) was born c1767

Elizabeth married Thomas THACKERY in England

Elizabeth was convicted of stealing a hankerchief and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She left England on "Friendship" and arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Charlotte". Her husband did not accompany her to the colony.

Elizabeth is reportedly the first white woman to set foot on Australia (from her headstone) but there is no evidence to support this claim.

Elizabeth was sent to Norfolk Island on "Sirius" in 1790

Elizabeth married James DODDING

In 1807 Elizabeth and James left Norfolk Island to Tasmania

Elizabeth married Samuel KING on 28/1/1810 in Tasmania

Elizabeth died 7/8/1856 in Tasmania (the last first fleet woman to die)
