Elizabeth Phoebe Prestridge was born on April 20, 1817, in South Carolina, USA. Her parents were Thomas Jones and Sarah Jones.

Elizabeth married Hezekiah Prestridge circa 1833. Together they had the following children:

• John F Prestridge;
• Elizabeth Jane Lynch (Prestridge);
• Thomas Jones Prestridge;
• Sarepta Ingram;
• Mary Marrietta Worley;
• William Durham Prestridge;
• Sarah Clementine Prestridge.

She died on March 5, 1910, in Bryan, Brazos, Texas, USA, and was buried in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, United States of America . Grave Site

Her son-in-law's notice of death in a newspaper in Bryan, Texas - solved her daughter Sarah Clementine's lineage. along with other documents. It took a background search on Mr. Worley, and the two sisters mentioned, that this part of the Prestridge family is all buried in Bryan City Cemetery.

Brother-in-law Rev. Blueford Bradford Sanders' obituary in Bryan, Texas mentions Arthur Worley, and his wife, Marietta Worley (Prestridge) being a sister as well as Elizabeth Jane Lynch to Rev. B. B. Sanders' late wife (Sarah Clementine Sanders (Prestridge), now why they didn't mention Thomas Jones Prestridge, other than he wasn't living in Bryan Texas and wasn't known in the area, we have no clue. All were buried together in the Bryan City Cemetery, assisted in the research. This obituary assisted in research for Sarah Clementine's parents.
