Miss Elizabeth Rayner
MISS Elizabeth Rayner, a member of a well-known Mudgee family, died at her residence in Church-street on Friday night at the age of 60.
The late Miss Rayner's death occurred suddenly, the result of heart trouble. A daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Rayner, of Mullamuddy, she was born at that centre, and had lived there all her life until about two years ago, when she came to Mudgee to live with her sister, Miss Mary Rayner.
Two sisters and one brother survive. They are Mrs. J. Madigan (Dunedoo), Miss Mary Rayner (Mudgee) and Mr. Edward Rayner (Mullamuddy).
The funeral took place yesterday afternoon after a service in the Church of England, interment being made in the Church of England portion of the Mudgee Cemetery. Rev. L. C. S. Walker conducted the service at the church and officiated at the graveside. Funeral arrange- ments were in the hands of Messrs. J. C. Swords and Son.
