Obituary

MRS H. ARNOLD.

The death took place in a private hospital, Mudgee, last Thursday morning, of Fanny, wife of Mr. Henry Arnold, of Hillside, Mudgee, aged 60 years.

Deceased had been a sufferer from asthma for a long time. About six weeks ago she became somewhat worse, and on New Year's Day she entered a private hospital. All her family were called to the bedside, but she then took a turn for the better, and hopes were held out for her recovery. However, early Thursday morning she passed peacefully away in her sleep.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr Samuel Rayner, a very old and esteemed resident of Mullamuddy.

She is survived by a husband, two sons and three daughters, viz.: Colin (Mudgee), Samuel (Kandos), Mesdames George Last (Mudgee), William Collins (Portland), and C. Bergoffer (Portland).

Mr E. Rayner (Mullamuddy) is a brother of deceased, and Mrs James Madigan (Tuckla), and the Misses Mary and Elizabeth Rayner (Mullamuddy) are sisters.

Deceased was very highly respected, and was held in affectionate regard by a large circle of friends for her many kindly qualities. Sincere sympathy is extended to the bereaved husband, families and relatives.
