Elizabeth Graves was born February 14, 1720, in Albemarle County, Virginia. She is the daughter of John Graves (1693 - 1722) of Spotsylvania, VA and Frances.[1]
Elizabeth married William Sandidge. They had nine children; Ann, John, Susannah, Mary, Elizabeth, Mildred, Stephen, William, & Nancy.[2]
Five siblings: Thomas, James, Joseph, John, & Ann.[3]
Her husband, William, died in 1776 in Albemarle County.[4]
Moved to Green County, Ky., with five of her children, after the death of her husband. One source states she moved @ 80 years old.[5]

Elizabeth (Graves) Sandidge died January 6, 1826, in Liletown, Kentucky, one month before her 106th birthday. She is buried at the Sandidge Family Cemetery about 300 yards west of house on the Sandidge Plantation, "Wilson Hill". House no longer stands. (Courtesy of Green County Library).

"As my son, John Sandidge, having purchased the intrust of all the legatees to his father, William Sandidge estate real and personal as my dependence for all support & care taking of my person and property has ever been in my son John Sandidge I do hereby request that he will guard my intrust during my life and for his fillial duty and piety toward me I give and bequeath to my beloved son, John Sandidge all and every kind of goods and chattels that I may die possessed of and as all subluary things are perishable if there should not be at my deceased a sufficiency to inter me decently I request as a mother that he will supply the deficit."
